The primary focus in the Grande Prairie Region is the Karr and Wapiti Montney properties, located southeast of Grande Prairie, Alberta, in the over-pressured, liquids-rich Deep Basin Montney trend.

As at December 31, 2020, Paramount had approximately 255,000 gross (175,000 net) acres of land in the Grande Prairie Region, including approximately 98,000 net acres of Montney rights and approximately 65,000 net acres of Deep Basin Cretaceous rights, which partially overlap the Montney rights.

Sales volumes for this Region averaged 54,586 Boe/d in the third quarter of 2021 (comprised of 145.8 MMcf/d of shale gas, 2.2 MMcf/d of conventional natural gas, 29,913 Bbl/d of NGLs and 9 Bbl/d of crude oil).
