The Kaybob Region includes the Kaybob and Ante Creek Montney oil developments and the Kaybob Smoky, Kaybob South and Kaybob North Duvernay developments.
As at December 31, 2021, Paramount had approximately 1.032 million gross (800,000 net) acres of land in the Kaybob Region, including approximately 260,000 net acres of Montney rights and approximately 192,000 net acres of Duvernay rights. Paramount has ownership in critical facilities and pipeline infrastructure in the area, including the Kaybob 8-9 natural gas processing plant, the Smoky 6-16 natural gas processing plant and the 12-10 oil battery. Paramount also owns and operates a crude oil terminal in the Kaybob area that was first put into service in 2019.
Sales volumes for the Kaybob Region averaged 20,726 Boe/d in the first quarter of 2022 (comprised of 35.7 MMcf/d of shale gas, 53.6 MMcf/d of conventional natural gas, 3,688 Bbl/d of NGLs and 2,154 Bbl/d of crude oil).
